We are finally in Pacific time! We drove into Washington tonight around 7 pm after driving all day from Bozeman, MT. We left the icy and snowy landscape of Wyoming yesterday only to arrive in a windy and freezing Montana. On the way we stopped at the Little Bighorn battlefield National Monument where we came upon a wild horse we named Beyonce. Augy greeted us in Bozeman and after a supermarket run we made a delicious enchilata/burrito dinner. Yum. Today was a driving day through the western mountains, but we did make a few stops along the way. We saw the Pulitzer Prize photography exhibition at the University of Montana in Missoula which was amazing and well worth the stop. Right before we reached Idaho, We saw sign after sign for something called 50,000 silver dollars? So we decided to investigate. It turned out to be a gift shop/restaurant/bar/casino/RV park. Perfect. We bought a few souvenirs to remember Montana by and each got a silver dollar that will be hung in the bar with our names under it forever! The west is great, we've seen real cowboys and even a couple bison! Next stop, the west coast!!!
