So we didn't blog yesterday because we spent much of the day driving to Geoff's in Columbus, Ohio. The landscape gradually changed from the rolling hills of PA and WV to the very very flat land of OH. Upon arrival, we accompanied Geoff to a Physics Graduate BBQ. Good times! We had some sweet fajitas and PBR and admired the full moon and very large trash cans in the alley way behind the house. We'll get a picture of one of those suckers before we leave tomorrow. They're huge, you could live one. Today we went to Buckeyed Donuts for breakfast and had egg 'n cheese sandwiches for breakfast and a donut for dessert. Then we busted into the Ohio State Art Building to check out the dark rooms and studio facilities. We found this amazing pink unisex bathroom that was Barbie themed. Later we went to the short north district in down town Columbus for some gallery hopping and window shopping. Karli got some amazing icecream (before dinner, whoops) one flavor was goat cheese and dark cherry, and the other was heirloom pumpkin spice. After a quick stop at the local grocery, Giant Eagle, we returned to Geoff's. Amelia is cooking up a delicious italian inspired pasta dish. Maybe drinks later?
